NEW STUDENTS
New students start with 1 hour introduction to Wing Chun with a certified instructor before attending or trying out regular classes.
To schedule the introductory lesson contact us directly below or schedule your lesson (form). Introductory lessons have a $25 scheduling fee cost. This fee is applied towards tuition if the student continues enrollment.
RULES OF CONDUCT
All students should strive to follow the Wing Chun Rules of Conduct:
Remain disciplined - Conduct yourself ethically as a martial artist.
Practice courtesy and righteousness - Serve the society and respect your elders.
Love your fellow students - Be united and avoid conflicts.
Limit your desires and pursuit of bodily pleasures - Preserve the proper spirit.
Train diligently - Maintain your skills.
Learn to develop spiritual tranquility - Abstain from arguments and fights.
Participate in society - Be moderate and gentle in your manners.
Help the weak and the very young - Use martial skills for the good of humanity.
Pass on the tradition - Preserve this Chinese art and rules of conduct.
SKWCMAA MEMBERSHIP
All tuition based students are automatically SKWCMAA members. Tuition includes your annual dues. SKWCMAA members may freely visit and train at other member schools when away from their home city. SKWCMAA members receive discounts on SKWCMAA events, seminars, training camps and materials; and are part of a global community of Wing Chun practitioners.
The Samuel Kwok Martial Art Association was founded over 40 years ago by Grandmaster Samuel Kwok.
The association’s vision is to teach authentic Ip Man Wing Chun to an exceptionally high standard.
The SKWCMAA is a worldwide association with representatives in over 35 countries. With more than 50 clubs/schools and thousands of members the association is one of the biggest Wing Chun Associations worldwide.
The SKWCMAA was established to promote traditional Ip Man Wing Chun worldwide. As President, Grandmaster Samuel Kwok travels the world to visit the member clubs and schools to help them promote Ip Man Wing Chun in their countries and regions.
EXPULSION DISCLAIMER
If a student at any time maliciously injures or attempts to injure a classmate; harasses or verbally assaults another student the result is permanent expulsion. There is no process for reinstatement into the school or association once expelled.
We do not tolerate: racism or nationalism, hate speech of any kind, diminishing another person due to their gender, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or country of origin; nor any type of political or religious intimidation, coercion, harassment or recruitment.
All students are enrolled at the discretion and approval of the school and its' instructors; and are expected to conduct themselves in a respectable and tolerant manner.
